yeah probably. i'd want to show them that i'm still a hard worker even tho they're not paying me what i should be paid.

yeah. if i know what will please the professor, i'd do exactly that! there's no point in writing my opinion and only getting a decent grade when i know what i could do to get a great grade.

A friend (or family member) is in dire financial straits. Do you offer him/her a lone?
i'd probably do it anonymously. like just send a cashier's check through the mail or something. then i'd be helping the person out, but they wouldn't feel like they owed me. but i'd only do it if i could afford it, of course. i'm not willing to let myself go bankrupt just to help out other people.
