random thought:

ok, so i was about to go to bed, but then i said to myself... "if i can add an entry now, i might as well do it, because who knows if i'll have time tomorrow" and sho-nuff... here we are.

anyway, so i thought i'd point out that at the current moment my weather pixie has a cute fireworks background... awwwww, hehe. i'm supposing only because the sky is dark because they appeared as soon as it turned dark and it was still july 3rd... as it still is right now. i would think the fireworks would wait to show up until the sky turned dark tomorrow because that's when most people send up the flares. but ah, technicalities cannot be worth my time... or can they. obviously they can since i'm wasting time on them. i cant help but think i could do SUCH a better job making my own little pixie lady. she'd be so cute and everything! but, i'll wait on that until i'm making millions and want to putt around making my own weather telling box thing with a girl or guy inside, lol.

anyway, tomorrow i'm going to my aunt's house down the shore for our anual picnic, awesome! cant wait for the dogs and all the rest of the yummy picnic food they come up with. it's ALWAYS different. and most times yummy. and HEY - the jerk isnt coming this year, woohoo! but neither can cube, so that's sad. but oh well, cant have everything i assume.

i'm really getting into the craft scene again... it's been a couple years since i was really into it... mainly because of this stupid "college" thing, lol. damn "college" taking up all my time, making me read a new book every week and write papers upwards of 50 pages long! ahhh... on year left... :) anyway, so yeah, i bought a whole bunch of beads in order to make various necklaces, bracelets, anklets and the like for those around me... if you'd like one, let me know, i have PLENTY of beads, lol. last year i think i bought a couple stamp sets and markers to make cards with, which i've used periodically to make some cards, but am really getting into it now, hehe. and i've seen these cool things in the craft stores... there's all these realistic looking clothes, items, scenery, food, and most of them are stickers... you just slap them on a card you're making and viola! looks like you've spent days doing it, lol. this intrigues me! however, there aren't like kits you can buy with a variety of these items.... you have to just go and buy a bunch, lol. and they have books with ideas, obviously... but like each card they make uses about 6 packages of their items, lol. not to mention the metal eyelets and metal snaps... these are cool. you punch a whole in the paper and then attach this eyelet and then the snaps just snap right into the eyelet (other things use the eyelets to thread things through).... but of course you need the tool kit to use any of that stuff... you CAN buy all the tools individually, but why would you? you'd need to buy almost all of them just for one project! LOL. anyway, fun times in the local michael's and acmoore. man i miss having free time to be crafty!

but yeah, check out cube's webpage (he also has a journal)... and then email him and tell him you want to see more going on in his website cause he's too lazy to do anything else since he thinks i'm like the only person who goes there, LOL.
