random thought: teenagers have it so easy - and they dont even know

my cousins came to visit this weekend. they're 11 and 13, but their bdays are in september and oct. anyway, we went up to their house to get them saturday afternoon, ate lunch, then came back to the jackson outlets. they were each given $100 with which to buy winter clothes. the first three things the 11 year old buys? two tshirts and a metal spongebob lunchbox. oh boy. so we told her that from then on she was supposed to run things by us (my mother and i) before purchasing them. then we went to the freehold mall and shopped some there too. they were absolutely in LOVE with this store, "bang bang" - they thought it was the greatest. they both got stuff there. at the end of the day, they'd both spent about half their money. then we came home and i let them pick out beads for necklaces. i made the one necklace right away, but the other one will have to wait a little until i get some motivation. lol.

the next day we all woke up around 8am, i took my shower, then they were supposed to take theirs, but apparently while i was in the shower, they decided they werent taking showers, so then we had all woken up too early because we were all ready an hour earlier than we were supposed to leave. damn i was mad. the only reason i dragged my ass out of bed was because that extra hour was supposed to be occupied with the munchkins taking their showers. grrr. anyway, so at 10 we all piled into the car and drove out to king of prussia mall which opens at 11 on sundays. then we shopped around there all day. i got a tank top that was on sale in old navy, i got a new watch, a relic ("wet" because it can go underwater), which is basically the same brand as fossil - they're the same company, just diff names. who knows why. lol. but yeah, it's a metal watch, all silver, round face with a green center fading into a blue outer ring. and it even has the little date thing - which is good, because thats always handy. anyway - $60 watch. all watches were on sale that day at jcpenny's... 20 or 25%, i forget which. BUT then the whole store was having a 20% off sale. so i got the $60 watch for $38 (with tax) - yahoo! good deal. and then i bought the girls each a bath and body works hand sanitizer because i used mine at lunch and they just thought that it was the best smelling thing to ever hit their noses... that and bbw was having a 3 for $10 sale (those little hand sanitizer things cost $4, then the bigger soaps cost $4.50 - so i got their two things and i got myself a soap. yeah baby. good stuff. their new scents for fall smell good - pumpkin and blackberry. yum. (two separate scents btw, they're not combined, haha). the blackberry smells an awful lot like the rasberry they already have tho - i'm wondering if that's the next scent to be phazed out. we'll see i guess. so then at 4, we left king of prussia and met my aunt at quakerbridge so neither of us had to drive quite as far. then they took us out to dinner at chevy's. man do i hate their father - but that's another journal... lol... (no, i dont have a separate journal devoted to hating him, but in order to go into details i would have to, lol).

yeah, so that was my weekend. hot shit. it was fun tho.

and i finished my book today, but i'll write about that in another entry, this one's long enough as it is.
