random thought: why does my college feel the need to NEVER give holidays off?

ok, so classes started today. i'm bored already. but there's things i COULD be doing so as to not be so bored. i could be doing homework. yes, classes started today, but i was assigned this homework last week. fun fun. i could also be reading and reviewing the next diary on my pending list at the review site. i could be signing up for hours to work in the mail room too. i'm probably not going to able to sign up for anything good considering i've waited so long. i should have signed up right when i got my schedule at the end of last semester, but i was too afraid i'd have to drop a class. anyway, it's labor day and i dont want to have to go to class. classes stink! lol.

i had first aid so far. first aid and cpr is a gym class... yay for nothing gym classes! so far so good. at least the prof seems nice. if he's even a prof, lol. i'm not so sure he is. oh well, anyway, he was trying to make class fun, so at least he's got that going for him.

then since i was over there, i stopped by to set up an appointment with davis. turned out he was free right then, so i got in to talk to him. for some odd reason i couldn't bring myself to tell him about jay and how i was reacting to his death. i do that a lot with him, i'll go in expecting to talk about something and wind up never mentioning it either because i'm too afraid to be emotional over it, or because i somehow want him to pry it out of me. oh well, maybe i'll talk about it next time.

oh well, i should get ready for my next class at 2:30 - digital photography! i'm hoping it wont go the whole two hours today. and i'm hoping that we find out whether or not we need to purchase or rent a digital camera for the class. i think i might buy if we need to have one. that way i'll get to learn how to use my OWN camera and besides, my mom wanted a digital anyway. we'll see.
