so i have another chunk of my thesis due tomorrow... ugh! i hate writing. why did i do this english major? arg! i really feel like i might fail. there's just no way for me to fathom how i might finish this paper in time. how can i possibly finish in time? i have half of the paper now... not even really. and i have 11 days until it's final copy is due. it doesn't have to be good, granted, it just has to be 35 pages with 30 sources in order for me to pass. and that's all i want really. i don't need to get an A. i dont want honors. i could care less about being perfect. i just want to pass. and in order to pass, i need to hand in my paper at exactly 2pm on friday november 21. and then promptly at 2:30 i'm meeting loli for a beer at the plunket. haha. in the meantime, i really need to work on this monster. but every time i say "i'm going to work on it" i get distracted in some way. or maybe it's just me distracting myself so that i dont have to work on the looming 35 page paper. thank goodness this is the largest paper i'll ever have to write. i am quitting school after this. haha. no grad school or masters degrees in my near future. i realize there is probably someone out there saying "why the hell is she complaining about 35 pages? that's nothing! i have to write ___ pages!!" and you know what i have to say to that person? "so what? this is MY life and this is the most i've ever had to write about one subject" so there.

anyway, i forgot to mention the best part of my weekend. i found a spa! it's so exciting. i went on friday and got a manicure. it was only $20 for a nice warm soothing soak, hand massage and the actual manicure with the shaping and polish and stuff. it was relaxing. i liked it. i think i'm going to go back before thanksgiving break and get another one so i look good for thanksgiving. haha. cube said he wanted to go and get a massage, so maybe we'll do both. that'd be fun. hehe. go for a mini spa day. but then my roomies wanna go too. and they said they only have two massage therapists, so i dunno that they can fit us all in. haha. we'll see tho.
