well, i went home for the weekend with cubee. we had a lot of fun. we spent all day saturday out and about. we went to atlantic city for most of the day, watched people gamble, saw the sun rise (sort of... it was kinda behind a building), walked on the beach, went through the ripley's believe it or not museum, walked the boardwalk, watched people ride some of the rides... then we went to the mall and walked around some until we realized that our feet hurt really bad. then we went home and watched tv. we were going to rent a movie, but we forgot. and on sunday he let me cut his hair. haha. didn't turn out too bad. i didnt have a mirror to line things up though, cause we did it outside so we wouldn't have to clean up. so i wound up having to go back and trim some things after i thought i was done. but whatev. i can now officially fall back on something else if this teaching thing doesn't work out for me, haha. hey, i could always go to LA and charge a huge amount for my services. muhaha.

anyway, i had a good weekend. but it went by SO quickly. i felt like i just got home and then it was time to leave again. it was kinda sad. i miss cube again already. we dont get to see each other nearly enough and we dont even get to talk all that much now because we're both so busy with end-of-the-year crap. and his classes end this wednesday, and he's done and out of his dorm by the time my classes end next friday. which is sad. because then when things are finally winding down for me, he'll be home. and we wont be able to talk on the phone. which sucks. because it's so nice just to hear his voice every once in a while. oh well. can't have everything i guess.

anyway, when i got back to school yesterday, i realized there was something wrong with the fishies. oscar has little white thingies all over him, bosie has white thingies on his tail. and oscar also has some red streaks through his tail, on his sides and on his gills. so i had to go to the pet store today and pick up some stuff to make them all better. hopefully it'll work. i talked to a guy there who said i should probably turn the temperature up for them and then give them the meds and this salt stuff to make them less stressed. geeze. fish are hard to take care of! who knew. i've only ever had to take care of dogs. and they're pretty self sufficient. but the water can literally kill the fish if you dont take care of the water as well as the fish. oh well, i'm learning and hopefully i'll become a better mommy to these poor fish soon. haha.

oh well, it's almost time to go out and celebrate with the rest of the english majors who are now all done with their theses along with me. yay!
