stop the presses...

I AM READING A BOOK FOR FUN!!!!!

i know. it's crazy. but my classes are over and my finals are over and i have nothing to do but hang out until graduation. i've never felt so free. i'm reading this book, running with scissors. it's a memoir. so far it's great. i read the first couple pages in the bookstore before i bought it just to make sure i'd enjoy it (it was recommended to me by a friend) and it did a pretty good job of sucking me in right away. i started it this morning at work around 9 and i've been reading it off and on ever since. it's interesting. and there's a sequel already too, dry. so maybe when i'm done with this one, i'll get that one and read it too. it's such a great feeling to read for pleasure. usually i dont feel like it because i know that i should be reading something else for a class, or trying to get ahead on reading for a class... but now i dont have to worry about that anymore. so i just get to kick back and do whatever i want... or whatever i dont want! haha. and i'm working a little bit every day too, just to force me into some kind of schedule that isnt sleeping all day long, haha. plus, i'll get some extra money for my "real world" needs.

anywho, the last mp banquet was last night. how sad. jeff and i were karen and jack from will and grace. it was good times. it was very low effort costumes, so that was a bonus. and no nastiness to wash off afterwards. and then at the cube party it was kinda sad cause it just wasnt as hoppin as it usually is. and then some silly sophomores started crying... weirdos. anyway, people weren't all that drunk, so it wasn't too off the walls. but we were all tipsy enough to have a little fun. this one kid (uber-gay we'll call him) decided, par-usual really, to try to make out with people. well, that didn't really work. so i started egging people on saying "make out! make out!" with katie and so then all of a sudden uber-gay grabs my head and plants one on me! that was shocking. haha, oh well, no big deal... but shocking all the same.

ahh well, the last mp banquet was fun... and so was the after party... it wasn't all i was expecting, but i think that's usually what happens with mp functions... haha.
